Week 23
Once you know, you KNOW. 
Happy Easter to you all!! HE IS RISEN! That's the best news in the whole world - our Savior lives! And because He lives, so will we! I am so grateful for my Savior and the opportunity I have to be His personal representative during this Easter season. This week was filled with so much light and love, and I've never felt closer to Him than I do here in the mission field! 
As always, let's start off with a scripture

Let's get into it!
Lunes ~ Revival through our covenants
~ Today was a SUPER chill pday and it was exactly what I needed haha. We just cleaned the house, hung out, and went shopping. 
~ Did some referencias this evening! There are MIRACLES leading up to Easter 
Martes ~ Conversion = forever
~ Awesome day! We finished up referencias in the morning, and I did a reallyyy y good personal study. Jesus is just so cool! 
~ I love being directed by the Spirit. We saw some amazing, tender-mercy miracles today!
~ We went to visit our recent convert Noelsy and her fam today (finally!!!), and it was sooooo good. Her husband, Yordan, was asking some really good questions and now understands the importance of baptism. We scheduled a visit with him every week and we're starting to teach him all the lessons! This family is going to be ETERNAL!!!!
~ Went to visit our other convert, Sandra, to see how she's been doing. She just went to the temple for the first time on Saturday and man, let me tell you - it shows. She had SUCH a light about her and was so bubbly, couldn't stop talking about all that she experienced and the peace she's felt since going!
Miércoles ~ The only intelligent way to serve
~ Consejo de distrito this morning!!
~ Today I was trying really hard to think more positively (Cuz it's something that I'm lowkey really bad at sometimes haha). At first I was feeling a little frustrated because no matter how hard I tried, it was always my first instinct to think negatively. But after praying during a five minute break in a park (we were walking allllll day), God helped me realize that it's okay! I'm not meant to be perfect yet, and I can't even try or repent perfectly. That's why I need Jesus so much in my life! This answer gave me so much relief and so much peace. Moral of the story, today I found that trying harder to have a positive attitude is actually a lot easier, and that the grace of Jesus Christ carries me through all the while.
~ Went to visit an inactive member family today! It was really good, and I think they're starting to open up more and more each time. There was also a really special moment there where we all, individually, received an additional witness of the prophet Joseph Smith and the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It was really sweet and honestly really beautiful to me!
Jueves ~ Angels round about <3
~ This morning we did service for an Hermana in our ward...and honestly it kind of felt like living in creative mode 
Literally anything could happen in that house and it would be completely normal. This Hermana is so chaotic and I lowkey can't understand a word she says (neither can Hermana Vargas 
) so we were just guessing as we went haha!

Well, I accidentally let one get away and lost the reto...so Hermana Vargas made me sing a hymn in our next contact
It actually was really good, the lady was super cool and we ended up finding her haha! If you want to see the video of me singing, it's in my Google photos
~ Had a sweet moment with Hna Vargas tonight as she realized that she finally had joy in the work again. I hugged her as she cried, and she thanked me for being "the angel" in her mission.
Viernes ~ Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
~ We were so led by the Spirit today. There were so many miracles and so many different people we met because we were there at the EXACT right moment, and we just saw God working through us so much today. It was honestly really really cool!
~ Jardin del Valle had a baptism today and it was so tenderly powerful. I got to talk to the lady afterwards and her experience reminded me so so much of mine. I LOVE being a member of this church. And it is such a privilege to get to help others have all the blessings that I have because of Jesus.
Sábado ~ Once you know, you know.
~ GENERAL CONFERENCE DAYYYY!!!! Ohhhh it was so good. The most powerful moment for me was honestly when we sustained Presidente Oaks as prophet. The Spirit rushed in so strongly, and I felt so powerfully, in the depths of my being, that this man truly is a prophet. Afterwards I looked over at the other hermanas, and they all had tears in their eyes, just like I did, having received the exact same personal witness from the Spirit.
~ It's kind of crazy watching conference!! It's my third conference as a member, and I'm here in Chile, as a missionary, listening to it in a different language. It's so surreal!
Domingo ~ HE IS RISEN!!!
~ HAPPY EASTER!!!! Today was so good, so fun, and so filled with the Spirit.
~ The hermanas stuffed eggs and went around with a bunny basket handing them out to everyone 
~ Today was so filled with the Spirit - just filled to the brim with the good news of Jesus Christ! 
~ Got to call my fam for a few minutes tonight - we all shared our Easter experiences and just had a tender conversation about how good our God is. I'm so grateful that I have a family who loves Jesus this much
Spiritual Thought Here is my testimony to you all: Christ is alive! I know that my Redeemer lives as real as if He was standing in front of me face to face. I love Him. Because He lives - because my Best Friend lives - we have hope! If it wasn't for Jesus Christ and His atonement, the dark, difficult, sorrowful moments of our lives would be the end. But I am here to testify that Jesus rose from the grave! Because He lived, suffered, died, and was resurrected, we can overcome it all. So whatever you're facing right now, whatever you're scared of, whatever causes you to hurt in this moment...know that because of Jesus Christ, this isn't the end. There is an eternity of hope to come.
I invite you all to watch this short Easter video about Jesus and His great love for you. I promise that you will feel His mercy, love, and grace deep in your heart, and you will feel the hope of His atonement again.
