Week 17
Home away from home

Buenas tardes a todos!!
Surprise surprise - it's been a great week! We saw lots and lots of miracles and encountered our Savior again and again. We went to the temple this week, and I just felt the power of the House of the Lord carrying me through every single day!
Scripture of the Week
"Repent, and come with full purpose of heart, and cleave unto God as he cleaveth unto you. And while his arm of mercy is extended towards you in the light of the day, harden not your hearts." Jacob 6:5
Let's get into it!
~ TEMPLE PDAYYYY
It was so incredible. I felt weightless. It was the most beautiful thing seeing all those missionaries gathered together and worshipping Jesus in the House of the Lord! I felt so at home. And I somehow just felt so close to my family too, even though they're so far away. God is so good!
~ Celebrated Jorge’s birthday!!! We did a surprise visit and made him a cake! It was really sweet haha. He was so happy
MiΓ©rcoles ~ Con todo mi corazΓ³n!
~ Interviews with President today!! It was really good. President Crump has such a tender heart, and they really really do love all of us.
~ Interviews took literally an eternity and a half (we were waiting for so long) so afterwards we just went to lunch and got to work! Danae came with us later in the day, which was super fun
~ Had a really good lesson about the restoration with those two girls that we talked to last week! And their grandma too!
Jueves ~ Sacrificios y privilegios
~ No confirmed lessons today…we were walking allllll day long. It was really good though!
~ At the end of the day, around 8:30, this woman let us in to sit down on some lawn chairs in her garden. We had a really tender moment together as we shared about prayer and our own experiences with Jesus. And my feet were very grateful for the break too
Viernes ~ Laughs, cat food, and air matresses
~ Intercambios de nuevo!! Today I was with Hermana Woodley. I love her!!!! She has a super contagious laugh, so when we're together we're literally just laughing the whole time
~ It was super fun leading out the area again! We had some supa cool lessons, and I taught English class and did Noche de Juegos by myself! I'm starting to love talking to people and having conversations with them, even if I need to ask them to speak a little slower every now and then
~ Got the news this morning that we're moving apartments
I think we'll just move to the apartment complex of the other Hermanas. But that means we'll be spending the rest of the week packing everything up and we'll have to take the whole day next Friday to move

Nah but I'm actually excited, it'll be super good! And it'll force Hna Bryner to pack up her stuff in time for transfers haha
SΓ‘bado ~ Fingerprints of God
~ Super cool day, pretty normal honestly
~ The elders had a baptism this afternoon and our friend was there so we got to go! It was so so so sweet. A teenage boy was baptizing both of his parents. Our hearts are so full.
~ Another beautiful sunset today! This is how I hear Him!!
Domingo ~ Heaven's highest compliment
~ MATΓAS CAME TO CHURCH!!! He was crying during the first hymn and the sacrament. He needed the Spirit so desperately, and he told us afterwards that He found what he was looking for
We also had 4 other friends come to church!! God is so good!!
~ We had lunch with our bishop and his family today! It's always so fun to be with them. They kept talking about how they think I'll be speaking in general conference one day, and they had chatgpt edit a photo of me
It had me ROLLING. Go look in my google photos

Spiritual Thought
"However dim our days may seem, they have been darker for the Savior of the world. In fact, in a resurrected, otherwise perfected body, our Lord of this sacrament table has chosen to retain for the benefit of His disciples the wounds in His hands and His feet and His side—signs, if you will, that painful things happen even to the pure and perfect; signs, if you will, that pain in this world is not evidence that God doesn’t love you. It is the wounded Christ who is the captain of our soul—He who yet bears the scars of sacrifice, the lesions of love and humility and forgiveness." - Elder Holland
I read this talk Sunday morning to prepare to take the sacrament at church. And I want to invite you all to do the same! Jesus Christ chose to keep the nail marks in His hands and His feet as a reminder of YOU! He always remembers you. And every day - and especially every Sunday - we are given the opportunity to always remember Him. Read this talk and remember who Jesus is to you. Remember His sacrifice, His love, and His enabling power in your life. Because it's real! I promise that as you read this talk and think of Him, you will realize He's closer than you thought He was. And you'll know what you need to do to grow even closer to Him! In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
Have a great week everyone! Thank you for all your messages and updates, I love you!
LAM!!!
